While in LA this past weekend, I tried the new "navigation" feature on Google Maps for the first time. Ever since it was released, I was hesitant to try it out because months earlier I paid for a pretty good navigation app (at the time). It's awesome because Google Maps is free, but at the same time bittersweet because now I have to deal with the fact that I have an inferior app that I paid for taking up space.
So to make this Google Maps review super short, imagine this: voice-guided Google satellite view on your GPS.
I uninstalled the other app with the quickness.
So now what's this I hear about the "real" Google phone coming out (you mean, the G1 isn't the real Google phone)?
