Woke up at 4 am CA time, ate breakfast 6 am, had a 4 hour flight, endured a grueling 3 hours of traffic, and ate dinner at 8 pm DC time at this Indian restaurant. Our driver said that they never have this much traffic, so I guess the CA traffic followed us. And everywhere we went it was like we always walk by someone who just passed gas. I swear, it wasn't either of us because we didn't eat until dinner. The 3 hours of traffic was pretty bad, but at least there were things to take pictures of along the way.

Too bad about the busy roads and bad air quality (I mean farts).
That architecture looks cool and would be fun to sketch.
Now, we're going to expect daily updates of the whole trip, so don't forget.
