I'm referring to the recently announced cast for a movie based on a multi-culturally influenced anime that was successful on Nickelodeon for three seasons. The live-action movie won't be so multi-cultural since they casted a bunch of white kids to play the lead roles. How much do you wanna bet that any people of color will be cast as bad guys or stereotypical supporting players? This has Dragonball disaster written all over it (another show I casually watched back in the day, which Fox fucked up in the upcoming live-action version).

Like many other so-called "adaptations", there was nothing wrong with the original show to begin with. Hopefully their attempt to milk this franchise will fail (like Dragonball).
